Founder and Director
Annemarie LeBlanc
Annemarie has a BA in Computer Science from McGill University. After Annemarie graduated from McGill University she was hired by Concordia University teaching Introduction to Database Management & Advanced Database practices. Additionally, she taught at Champlain Regional College on the South Shore of Montreal. After 27 years Annemarie decided to stop teaching take on her Little Retirement Project, blogging. In a mere 2-years, she grew her blog to 14 million readers a month.
Writers
Jessica Smiths is our fashion expert and she hails from the sunshine state Florida. She is a huge Sex and The City Fan and has watched the show and the movies so many times she knows them by memory. She loves fashion and agrees with Carrie ‘The only thing I’ve ever successfully made in the kitchen is a mess. And several small fires.’
Sissy Anderson is our wedding expert has been writing for years. She has two published children’s books and has authored everything from poetry to personnel manuals. She can usually be found at home with her family (her husband, daughter, four chihuahuas, a cat, and two hamsters!) or at a Barnes and Noble. A true night owl…she lives on strong coffee!
Deana Clark – Deana is the jack of all trades. She started in fashion but found her true passion in writing. After mixing the two into a fabulous cocktail of freelance writing about all things style, she started a family. Her 3 kids keep her Prada pumps moving as they explore the world one adventure at a time.
Rebekah Beasly hails from London, England and she is our parenting expert. Rebekah is Mom to twin girls and a fifteen-year-old daughter so life is always interesting. When she is not writing for OUAM she is trying to organize her crazy life.
Tanya Clark
Tanya is a freelance writer, educator, and therapist. She spends the days of her life caring for her bold and beautiful loved ones, she’s young at heart, very restless, and made her debut at L.A. General Hospital.
Sandra McIntyre
I am an avid soap fan and have been for many years. Some of my favorite soaps were Another World, Texas, and Santa Barbara. I love to spend time with my children and grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy reading as well as writing fan fiction. General Hospital’s Sam and Jason are one of my favorite couples of all time.
Sarah Luoma
Sarah has a degree in Communication Arts and has worked as a writer and producer for TV. As a freelance writer, Abi enjoys writing about celebrity and entertainment news. In her spare time, she loves cooking, baking, and playing with her three rescued cats.

Tamara Dupler-Blake
Tamara hails from the Mid-West and is Once Upon A Maritime’s social media guru and WordPress expert. Tamara is who keeps everything humming along. While Tamara is not working her magic on the back end of OUAM she is Queen Director for many regional pageants.
