Luke Grimes catches up with fans following Yellowstone midseason finale
After the seven episodes of season 5 of Yellowstone ended with its midseason finale, fans are longing for more. However, while it will be some time before viewers can catch up with the Duttons, Luke Grimes opened up on Instagram about the midseason finale episode.
Following the news that the Paramount Network hit series will only return in the summer, Luke Grimes decided to update his fans. In a post on Instagram, Luke included an image of himself from the series. Meanwhile, in his caption, he went on to thank his fans for their support of his work on Yellowstone. However, that’s not all, as he also revealed a secret that fans might not know. Just after the New Year 2023, Grimes wrote:
Thanks for watching, and thanks @yellowstone for having my song in last night’s show. Means the world.

Fans react to Luke Grimes’ Instagram
Pretty soon after the Yellowstone star posted the image to Instagram, his fans quickly reacted. While many of his followers responded to the big music news, others were upset that it will be such a long time for part 2 to drop. One fan wrote, “Dude — mid summer — what’s up with that? That being said, LOVE THE SHOW!”
Another addressed the wait for part two by writing, “Not looking forward to waiting so long! But loved these last 7 episodes!” Meanwhile, another fan commented, writing, “I’m not sure if I can until summer for the new episodes!”
Season 5 of Yellowstone the biggest yet
Grimes’ Instagram post comes as Yellowstone continues to be a massive hit with viewers. In fact, in November 2022, Entertainment Weekly reported that the season 5 premiere scored its highest ratings with 12.1 million viewers tuning in.
Meanwhile, season 5 of the modern Western series is Yellowstone’s biggest season yet. Instead of the normal 10 episodes, season 5 has an impressive 14 episodes, split into parts 1 and 2.

Meanwhile, despite the fact that Yellowstone will be away for a while, Luke has been busy. Besides the song that aired in the show, the country singer is working on his debut album. Moreover, he and co-star Lainey Wilson will both be performing at the Stagecoach Music Festival in late April.
