Yellowstone spoilers tease that season 5 is already here and fans of the Taylor Sheridan show have already got two episodes in on the premiere night. In these episodes, John Dutton (Kevin Costner) was just getting his feet wet as Governor of Montana and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) was stepping and swatting her brother Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) like he was a pesky little bug. Monica Dutton (Kelsey Asbille) was in labor, and drove to the hospital with Tate Dutton (Brecken Merrill) and end up in a horrible crash where Monica loses the baby, Tate’s little brother. Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) rushes to the hospital to find a distraught Monica, they call the baby John after the Dutton patriarch. Essentially to sum up the first two episodes, the ranch is still in trouble and Beth and Jamie still vehemently hate each other, Kayce and Monica have to deal with another blow.
Yellowstone Spoilers – Episode 3, ‘Tall Drink Of Water’
In the official synopsis for the episode, “Beth heads to Salt Lake City to take care of unfinished business; a trap is set for Jamie; Kayce makes an important decision for his family. In this new episode viewers will find out more about Beth’s past and John will get into even more trouble. Beth and Jamie are going to battle it out even more and Jamie will deal with the traps that are being set for him.”
It is very clear that Jamie is the weak link in the family. It showed when his father was being sworn in as governor and how far he was standing away from him, as well as the expression on his face, and somebody who wants to destroy John was watching! Welcome Jamie’s new ally, she has no interest in him personally, she wants to use his weakness to take down John and the Dutton family. Beth is cornering Jamie, and he is eventually going to lash out, will he align with this new ally? John will be facing more enemies than he has ever before, will he be prepared for that? Kayce is going to have some pretty tough decisions ahead of him. Will he and Monica’s marriage survive their recent tragedy? More importantly, how will this affect Tate moving forward?
Yellowstone Updates – Jamie
Jamie’s story might be the most interesting this season. After finding out that his biological father (Will Patton) was behind the attack on the family, Beth manipulated him into killing him. Beth thinks she has a weak feeble-minded Jamie in her pocket, and so does John for that matter. Season 5 promises a gloriously-messy story, could it be Jamie who shocking leads that mess?
