Tulsa King Spoilers: The Making Of Sylvester ‘Sly’ Stallone’s Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi
Tulsa King spoilers and updates tease that the Taylor Sheridan series premiered its first episode, ‘Go West, Old Man’ on Sunday, November 13th on Paramount Plus, and it didn’t disappoint. There was speculation that the show would be a smash hit and that certainly seems the case since it is already renewed for a second season.
Tulsa King Spoilers – The Making Of Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi
One of the most refreshing things to see in the first episode of Tulsa King is Sly’s hidden sense of humor. Stallone said that he wanted to incorporate more of his own personality into the new series, and the sense of humor is something that Rambo and Rocky’s fans are not used to from Sly. But don’t worry, he assures his fans that he can still “go gangster on you.” In a recent interview with Collider, Sly admitted that his personality is “off-center at times” and wanted to incorporate that into his Dwight character. Adding some of himself into his Tulsa King character, Sly believes the series will be more rounded to audiences.
Where does Stallone go from here? He was going to direct the first season and didn’t, but hints that we might see him behind the director’s chair in season two.
Sheridan Taylor is the creator and executive producer of Tulsa King and was inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, so he knows a little about westerns. Fans will recall that Taylor is probably best known for portraying David Hale in the FX TV series Sons of Anarchy. Aside from Tulsa King, he also has Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingston, 1883 and 1923 in the works.

Episode 2 is mere hours away and is titled, Centre of the Universe, and now that Dwight has found a comfortable pair of cowboy boots, “Dwight, Tyson, and Bodhi go on a road trip to take care of some business; Stacy does some digging into Dwight’s past.”
