Cole Hauser is known as Rip Wheeler on the modern Western series, Yellowstone and is a fan-favorite actor. However, in a recent Instagram post, Cole paid tribute to 9/11 first responders and a charitable foundation, leading to fans sending him heartwarming messages.

Yellowstone star Cole Hauser’s latest Instagram post has his fans sending him heartwarming messages. It turns out he was in New York City and met up with people from the Tunnel To Towers Foundation. His post was considered “awe-inspiring” as he wrote about the “history lesson” he received.

While Hauser is best known for his role as John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) head ranch hand, Rip Wheeler. Meanwhile, the show has become one of the most-watched primetime TV dramas in the world. Fans are already excited about the fact that season 5 finally arrives on Sunday, November 13 with a double-whammy episode.

Now, they are totally enthralled by Cole’s latest Instagram post. In the post, he promotes the worthwhile charitable cause, Tunnel to Towers Foundation. His post thanked Frank Siller and the team for showing his family around the site of the 9/11 attacks in New York City.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was set up to honor Frank Siller’s brother, Stephen, who lost his life while saving others in the 9/11 attacks in 2001. Since the devastating tragedy, the foundation has helped to provide mortgage-free homes to families of fallen first responders and military.

While taking his wife and children on a tour of New York, Hauser wanted to learn more about the foundation. In his post, Cole shared a number of images of himself while spending time with Frank and other high-ranking first responders.

In his post, he wrote:

Thanks to #franksiller and @tunnel2towers for a history lesson with my family in NY.

Great meeting all the gentlemen of Engine Co. 10 Ladder Co. 10 dinner on me next time I’m in the city. God bless!”

Many of Cole’s 1.2 million followers were quick to respond to the heartwarming post and his support for the important foundation.

One wrote, “My city – it’s good to see actors acknowledge one of the greatest charities ever. #neverforget.” Another commented, writing, “Thank you, Cole for supporting veterans and first responders!”

Meanwhile, yet another fan, who clearly knows the foundation also commented. She wrote, “How awesome for your kids to get this valuable lesson from Frank Siller,” adding, “Tunnels2Towers is a great organization.”

Yet another wrote, “My respect for you just increased exponentially,” adding, “T2T is one of my favorite charities. Thank you!”

While everyone already loves Cole Hauser in his role as Rip Wheeler, fans are clearly even more impressed with his promotion of a charitable foundation.
