Tulsa King Spoilers: Sly At The Helm – Flexing His Comedic Muscles

Tulsa King

Tulsa King spoilers and updates tease that the new series premieres on November 13th for back-to-back episodes on Paramount+. The series showrunners are Taylor Sheridan who many fans will remember from Sons of Anarchy where he played Danny Boyd and has been nominated for numerous rewards, including an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Hell or High Water – and Terence Patrick Winter who wrote the screenplay for The Wolf of Wall Street. Aside from those two amazing talents, there is also actor and filmmaker, Sylvester Stallone.

Sheridan is actually the one who wrote the pilot, pitched it to Sly, and then within days, it was sold.

Tulsa King Spoilers – Sneak Peaks

Paramount has released sneak peeks of the new series and certainly is action-packed. When it premieres on November 13 it will be episode 1 and episode 2 back to back, and this will give viewers a good look into what Tulsa King has to offer. But, before Tulsa King on that night, the fifth season of Yellowstone will be premiering. And for those of you who don’t have access to Paramount, the second episode of Tulsa King will also air on cable.

The sneak peeks show Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi spent 25 years in prison, read, and worked out every day.  He is very smart and well-read and when he is released, he is sent from New York City to Tulsa, Oklahoma to run a criminal network for his mafia boss. He is definitely a fish out of water in his new life. Manfredi is funny, sharp-witted, and dropped in the middle of nowhere with people who he knows nothing about.

Manfredi tries to adjust to his new life and quickly realizes that he needs to put together his own crew and turn the operation into a criminal enterprise of his own.

Tulsa King Updates – Amazing Cast

Aside from Sly, there will also be some very notable faces from Boardwalk Empire, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Wire, A Million Little Things, Tombstone, and The Sopranos.

If you are thinking this is just another run-of-the-mill mafia drama, it is not. Manfredi’s crew is made up of cowboys, Indians, and some misfits who help Manfredi get his business affairs in order, including a marijuana dispensary.

What do you think about the upcoming series? Are you looking forward to tuning in?
