Tulsa King, the highly anticipated new series is set to premiere on Sunday, November 13, 2022, on Paramount+, from the co-creator of Yellowstone and the Executive Producers of The Sopranos.
Tulsa King Spoilers – The Actors
The series stars Rocky Balboa himself, Academy Award Nominee, Sylvester Stallone, as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, and he is in the lead role where he will be making his scripted television debut. Dashiell Connery also stars and he is a known actor, but more known for his famous family, he is the only grandson of Sean Connery, who by the way was the very first actor to portray James Bond. Tatiana Zappardino plays Tina Manfredi, This Is Us fans will recall that she appeared in the last episode. Stephanie Kurtzuba will be portraying Clara Truisi and she is very familiar with sharing the big screen with some very famous people, Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino, and Hugh Jackman. Dana Delany portrays Margaret and she was also the voice of Superman’s Lois Lane in 1996.
As you can see there is a lot of action-packed talent in Tulsa King, and that is just some of it.
Tulsa King Updates – About
The official synopsis for the new series is, “it follows an Italian mobster faced with the startling task of reestablishing his Italian mafia family in Tulsa, Oklahoma.”
When Dwight was 17 he wanted to be a gangster. He married this life and now, after keeping his mouth shut, he is going to see if it married him back. He has to go to Tulsa, and at first, he thinks it’s a joke. At 26 he took an oath, he’s been asked if what he did was worth 25 years. Now, he is going to see if it was.
Dwight “The General” Manfredi is a New York Mafia capo who just completed a 25-year prison sentence. Upon release, his boss sends him to Tulsa, Oklahoma to establish criminal operations there. Not knowing anyone in the area, The General seeks a new crew to help establish his empire.
Give him a couple of years and he is going to own Tulsa. Dwight says if anyone asks what he does for a living, tell them he is an Industrialist.
The first two episodes on November 13th and 20th will be a lead-out for the much anticipated season five of Yellowstone.
