Taylor Sheridan’s latest Yellowstone prequel 1923 is truly coming together as yet another new star has been added to the cast. The Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren-led series has added a Game of Thrones actor, Jerome Flynn on Paramount+.
Yellowstone prequel 1923 adds Jerome Flynn
Gradually, the cast is coming together for Taylor Sheridan’s latest Yellowstone prequel, 1923. Recently, Robert Patrick, Sebastian Roché and Brandon Sklenar were added to the already impressive cast. Now, it is the turn of Game of Thrones alum, Jerome Flynn.
Meanwhile, Flynn plays Banner Creighton, a hard-headed man with a Scottish brogue and the leader of the local sheepmen. The actor is probably best known for his role as Bronn in Game of Thrones but also starred in the British dramas Ripper Street and Soldier Soldier. In the latter two shoes, he played Bennet Drake and Paddy Garvey, respectively.
However, Flynn has also famously starred in Between the Line, Black Mirror and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
Other cast members of the Yellowstone prequel 1923 include Darren Mann, James Badge Dale, Michelle Randolph, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Julia Schlaepfer and Aminah Nieves.
About the Yellowstone prequel
The upcoming series 1923 introduces a new generation of the Dutton family. Meanwhile, the show will explore the early 20th century. This era is plagued by pandemics, the end of Prohibition, historic drought and the Great Depression, set in the Montana area the Duttons call home. As mentioned, the series is led by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
The original modern Western series Yellowstone first debuted in 2018 and has run for four seasons, with season 5 dropping in November. Meanwhile, Taylor Sheridan has kept busy with more projects, including the other Yellowstone prequel, 1883, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, Bass Reeves, Land Man and Lioness.
Fans have a lot to look forward to this year, as season 5 of Yellowstone premieres in November. A short while later in December 1923 will also debut on the smaller screen. Moreover, the series is currently in production in Montana.
