Breaking Bad Stars Return In Better Call Saul’s Final Season

Better Call Saul spoilers and updates tease that fans once again saw their favorite characters from Breaking Bad. It’s been confirmed that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, respectively, have returned to the Breaking Bad spinoff.

Both characters appear in Better Call Saul’s final season, which follows the story of Jimmy McGill before he became known as Breaking Bad’s Saul Goodman. With only a few episodes left in the final season, fans have finally seen the characters return to the show.

Monday’s episode came with the title Breaking Bad. Before that, many are wondering if that’ll be the time when Walter and Jesse will make their appearances. And they got exactly what they wanted.

Better Call Saul’s Boss Confirms Walter and Jesse’s Appearance

Better Call Saul Boss Peter Gould, who was also the co-creator of Breaking Bad along with Vince Gilligan, confirmed that it’d be the most anticipated episode. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gould dropped some hints during the unveiling of the statues of Walter and Jesse at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

“Spoiler alert, everybody. You’re hearing it first; no one else knows this yet. This coming Monday night, if you happen to be watching the AMC network – and thanks to them as well – you might just see these two on the next Better Call Saul,” Gould teased.

He also promised that fans would be delighted and all their patience would pay off when Walter and Jesse returned. He’s heard a lot of theories as to how these two characters would come back to the show. However, he hasn’t heard any that came close to the actual fact of these characters’ return.

Better Call Saul Writer Opens Up About Jesse and Walt’s Return

Thomas Schnauz, the longest-tenured writer in the Heisenburg universe, also shared that they have always thought that Jesse and Walt would return at some point. They just had no idea when or how.

The episode Breaking Bad features flashbacks of Saul Goodman’s first meeting with Jesse Pinkman and Walter White, which is told from Saul’s perspective.

Better Call Saul has two more episodes to air before it ends. On August 8, the episode Waterworks will hit the screens, and the season finale, Saul Gone, will premiere on August 15 on AMC.
