Keep Breathing on Netflix
Scream star Melissa Barrera will be in the lead in the upcoming survival thriller, Keep Breathing, set in the Canadian wilderness. Meanwhile, the miniseries is created by Martin Gero and Brendan Gall. Moreover, the series was produced by Warner Brothers Television.
The plot involves a character, Liv, who survives a small plane crash in the heart of the Canadian Wilderness. Now alone, Liv must battle the elements, and her personal demons and against all odds, survive.

As mentioned above, Mexican actress Melissa Barrera will star in the lead role, as she makes her Netflix debut in Keep Breathing. She recently starred in the reboot of the 90s horror franchise, Scream. In fact, she will reprise her role in Scream 6, set to premiere in 2023.

Argentine actress Florencia Lozano will star in an as-yet-unknown role. Her first TV role was in Tèa Delgado. Meanwhile, Israeli-German actor Jeff Wilbusch plays the role of Danny. Spanish actress Joselyn Picard plays young Liv and is known for her role in Superman & Lois and the Netflix series Away. Colombian actor Juan Pablo Espinosa plays Liv’s father and has previously starred in Breathe, Acapulco, Cocaine Godmother and the Netflix hit series Narcos.
Other stars include Getenesh Berhe as Ruth who has starred in Cinema of Sleep, Breathe and SurrealEstate. Meanwhile, Michelle Choi-Lee plays a doctor in Keep Breathing. She has previously starred in Yellowjackets, Firefly Lane and Debris. Austin Stowell, who has enjoyed roles on Netflix, ABC, SyFy, NatGeo, CW, Hallmark and Lifetime, is in a currently unnamed role. Meanwhile, Alison Wandurza is also in an unnamed role and has starred on Netflix, ABC, SyFy, NatGeo, CW, Hallmark and Lifetime.

Netflix has confirmed that the limited series will have a total of six episodes, each of which will have an approximate runtime of 60 minutes. Filming started in Vancouver on June 28, 2021, and wrapped on September 30, 2021.
