Amazon Prime Video has released the first full trailer for the new sci-fi drama series Paper Girls and it is a time-travel adventure. In fact, the girls themselves, Erin, Mac, Tiffany and KJ find themselves trapped in the crossfire between two warring factions of time travelers. Recently, Stranger Things fans have been shocked by the season 4 finale episode. Fast-forward to now, and a group of youngsters also find themselves in a place of danger. In fact, on Halloween morning in 1988, they are caught in the crossfire of two warring factions of time travelers.
Last week, Amazon Studios released a teaser for the new sci-fi drama series Paper Girls. Now, the streamer has released the first full trailer for the sci-fi show. As noted by Comicbook, the series was adapted from Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang’s 2015 graphic novel series.
The plot involves four girls with a paper round, Erin, Mac, Tiffany and KJ, who find themselves transported to the year 2019. Terrified by their time travel journey, the girls must seek help from their older selves to be able to return home. Moreover, they need to escape from the clutches of their time-travel captors.

According to the official IMDb page for Paper Girls, Sofia Rosinsky plays Mac Coyle, Fina Strazza plays K.J. Brandman, Riley Lai Nelet plays Erin Tieng and Camryn Jones plays Tiffany Quilkin. Ali Wong plays adult Erin and Kellee Stewart plays Dr. Carol Quilkin.
Other stars include Adina Porter at Prioress, Nate Corddry as Larry, Morgan Carroll as Old Guard and Daniel Rashid as Heck.
Trailer for Paper Girls
Amazon Prime Video’s new trailer features the opening scenes of the series. It offers a feel of Stranger Things, with a little Umbrella Academy and The Adam Project mixed in and plenty of humor.
In the trailer, we see Erin’s older self, but also the odd glimpse of Tiffany’s older version in a nightclub. Meanwhile, K.J.’s older self is seen kissing another woman in a bedroom.
