Yellowstone spoilers and updates tease that its prequel series starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren has been renamed. Previously titled 1932, the series now comes by the name 1923.
The upcoming show will take place in the new titular year. It will focus on the Dutton Family’s next two generations.
The story is set following the events that took place in Yellowstone’s prequel called 1883. It will feature their struggles as they find ways to survive various dilemmas including the historic drought, an epidemic of cattle theft, and lawlessness, to name a few. The show will also feature what it was like at the end of World War I, which happened in 1918.
What To Expect in 1923?
1923 is a follow-up series to Yellowstone’s prequel, 1883, which debuted on Paramount+ on December 21. 1183 features stars including Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliott. Meanwhile, Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford join the cast of 1923.
1923 is scheduled to premiere in December on Paramount+. The series, which was created by Taylor Sheridan, is only one of the shows that he has that’s currently in production.
Aside from 1923 and Yellowstone, Sheridan is also working on Mayor Kingstown season 2, Tulsa King, and 1883: The Bass Reeves Story. Joining Sheridan as executive producers are John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson.
The TV series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions.

Harrison Ford’s Acting Gigs
Aside from 1923, Harrison Ford also has other projects lined up. He’s set to star in an upcoming comedy series in Apple which is called Shrinking. It’s going to be his first major TV role.
Fans may recall Ford in iconic franchises such as Blade Runner, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. He’s also known for his movies such as Witness, The Fugitive, Sabrina, Patriot Games, and Working Girl.
Mirren’s Acting Credits
As for Mirren, her other acting credits include Trumbo, Calendar Girls, The Madness of King George, and Gosford Park. She also joined the Fast & Furious franchise, where she appeared in three movies.
Mirren won four Emmy Awards and brought home a Golden Globe Trophy for her role in The Queen back in 2007. The actress also won an Olivier Award, Drama Desk Award, and a Tony Award.
