Yellowstone Fan Favorites Upped To Series Regulars

Yellowstone spoilers, news, and updates tease that the show has bumped up two fan favorites to series regulars. Wendy Moniz, who plays Governor Lynelle Perry, and Mo Brings Plenty as Mo, have been promoted to series regulars for season 5.

The new season will premiere on November 13. The show follows the story of the Dutton family, headed by John Dutton (Kevin Costner). He owns the largest cattle ranch in the country, the Dutton Ranch, which is located in Montana. The Duttons try to protect their property from external forces and personal rivals who are hell-bent on taking over their land.

More Cast Members Return

It’s been recently revealed that Josh Lucas is set to return to the show as the young Josh Dutton in a recurring capacity. Jacki Weaver, Kylie Rogers, and Kyle Red Silverstein are also returning to Yellowstone. Weaver is set to play the character, Caroline Warner, Rogers as the young Beth Dutton, and Silverstein as the young Rip Wheeler. Yellowstone will take fans for a trip down memory lane in the upcoming fifth season. It will also feature Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler’s (Cole Hauser) married life.

Yellowstone Cast New Stars

Aside from series regulars and recurring roles, Yellowstone has also brought in new stars to add to its cast. Kai Caster for American Horror Story, Lainey Wilson, Lilli Kay, and Dawn Olivieri have all joined the show’s cast. Olivieri, who fans may recognize from 1883, takes on the role of Sarah Atwood. Kay will be Clara Brewer, Wilson as Abby, and Caster as Rowdy.

Yellowstone has started production for season 5. Its fourth season was a success and had 9.3 million viewers in January. The series got a nomination for a SAG Award acting ensemble and a Producers Guild Award.

Yellowstone Spinoff: 1932

Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren have joined the cast of 1932, the prequel to Yellowstone. The origin story is set in the early 20the century, when “when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home,” as per Paramount+ ‘s press release.

1932 will follow Yellowstone’s first origin story, 1883, which featured Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who played the roles of James and Margaret Dutton, respectively, the founders of the Dutton ranch. It is scheduled to air on Paramount+ in December.
