This Is Us has sadly come to an end but we’re keeping you up to date on the stars and their new projects. Chrissy Metz who was a fan favorite for her work as Kate Pearson teamed up with her real-life partner and boyfriend, Bradley Collins for something exciting. The couple has worked on their first book about parenting and religious faith called, When I Talk to God, I Talk About You.
She noted via her Instagram profile, “It’s official… We wrote our very first children’s book!! ‘When I Talk to God, I Talk About You’ will be here in February 2023, but you can pre-order your copy TODAY. Flamingo Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers revealed that “When I Talk to God, I Talk About You” will be published on February 14 of next year. They noted that the book is written in “simple, rhyming verse,” with illustrations by Lisa Fields. The book is a journey through the dream of raising a child and watching them grow right before your eyes all while supporting their unique path with love and guidance through a tender introduction to prayer,” Metz and Collins revealed in a statement.

This is not her first book as Metz is also the author of the best-selling memoir “This Is Me.” Metz was married to British journalist Martyn Eaden from 2008 – 2015. She has been seeing Collins, a Nashville-based songwriter and creative community advocate, since 2020. The couple recently celebrated their second anniversary together in May. She wrote, “Happy Two Years, Babe! I am one lucky girl who gets to love you and learn from you everyday. Beyond grateful we found one another in this lifetime. I love you! XO.”
Metz is a Christian. Her time on This Is Us earned her Primetime Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations. She is also a singer and sings in her band Chrissy and the Vapors. Keep an eye out for the book!
