The Mandalorian Boss Hints Season 4 Already In Development

The Mandalorian spoilers and updates tease that the Disney+ series is already working on the fourth season. The news comes ahead of the Season 3 premiere, which is set for 2023.

The Mandalorian boss, Jon Favreau has revealed that they’re already working on the fourth season. The recent news made fans of the show even more excited.

In an interview with Cinema Blend, Favreau said that “With television, we’re very lucky that we don’t have to rush things through into an hour-and-a-half, two hours.”

“We get to tell stories slowly. So now, as Dave [Filoni]’s doing Ahsoka, it’s very much informing the writing that I’m doing for [The Mandalorian] season four,” he added.

When asked about the writing process, Favreau said that it’s “more precise.”

The Mandalorian Season 3

As for The Mandalorian season 3, the new episodes are currently in post-production. They have also completed the principal photography for the third season.

It’s also been revealed that Katee Sackhoff will reprise her role as Bo-Katan Kryze as her character deals with some “unfinished business.”

Disney+’s The Mandalorian takes place about five years after the events that were featured in Star Wars: Return of The Jedi. Season 3 is expected to premiere sometime in February 2023. Later in the year, Ahsoka will hit the small screen. Nothing much has been revealed about the new series but Ahsoka director Bryce Dallas that fans of The Clone Wars will love it.

The Mandalorian’s Final Season?

Favreau also teased that certain plans are in place in terms of the show’s conclusion. He said in an interview with Collider that it’s interesting to see how things evolve. But just like any other story, there will come a time when it has to come to an end.

He added that they’re well aware that storylines will eventually unfold within the existing characters or the ones that they’re developing. A lot of preparation is needed in finding ways on how the storylines would culminate. But Favreau noted that they’re all “within the confines and parameters of what’s pre-existing in canon.”

The Star Wars series was a huge success when it aired its first season. Now, the Disney+ original program didn’t just get renewed for multiple seasons but it’s also having two spinoffs such as Ahsoka and The Book of Boba Fett.
