In the video, shared on Twitter, Balfe shared, “We’re gonna [sic] have a mega-sized season for you to get back to.” She went on to add, “So get through this next Droughtlander.”

Meanwhile, among busy scenes, Skelton teases they are there working hard for us on what she thinks is her favorite season yet. Starz show ‘bigger and better’

Speaking with ET following the season 6 finale, Heughan teased that the upcoming season 7 will be bigger and better. Meanwhile, he added that they faced a lot of challenges this season, with the COVID protocols. Sam added that obviously they had to keep everyone safe, but it did make an “extra level of challenge” to the everyday working environment.

Heughan also noted that Caitriona was around five or six months pregnant towards the end of filming the “action stuff,” plus it was the height of winter in Scotland. Sam added that they don’t normally shoot through those months, so it was tough. Meanwhile, he mentioned new characters coming in, including Jamie Fraser’s biological son William, but also a “bunch of new characters as well.”

Meanwhile, producer Matthew Roberts shared how they condensed season 6 to get all the good material in there. Moreover, now, he says they are going to give us a “super-sized season 7.” Roberts did admit this is already presenting its own challenges because at the time they were already writing season 7.

Meanwhile, no announcement has yet been made by Starz about season 7 and its premiere date. It is way too early for that. However, just getting a peek into the production process is a fair reward.
