Big Brother

Big Brother spoilers and updates tease that way back when in season 4 of Big Brother, 2003, Jun Song won Big Brother. Something a little different about her experience in the BB house was that she had to play with her ex-boyfriend Jee, as a part of an X-Factor twist. Jun had a secret alliance with Jee and also with Alison Irwin, which helped her get to the final two. Jun’s winning Big Brother was a landslide vote, six out of seven jury members voted for her to win.

Big Brother Spoilers – More TV appearances

Jun, along with other BB alumni appeared on an episode of Yes Dear. She also returned to Big Brother All-Stars as a judge in a food competition, and again on BB10. She was called to appear in BB22, but she refused to leave her son during the pandemic. Now she is proud to wear the crown of being the first Asian-American to win.

Even Big Brother winners have regrets, and Jun has hers. She told Entertainment Weekly that when she was the final two in the house with Alison, they would sit there all day and trash the people who they each helped getting evicted from the house. One houseguest that really rubbed her the wrong way was Robert Roman and she admits that she was at her worst when she said bad things about his daughter who was only five years old at the time. CBS never aired it, but it did appear on the live feeds when she called his daughter a name that she totally regrets. She ended up apologizing to Robert for that.

Big Brother Updates – Significance

In the same interview, Jun that she never really appreciated the fact that she was the first “Asian” person ever to win Big Brother. She only realized it years later when she started receiving fan mail and messages from people telling her the significance of her winning BB. Now she is proud to wear the crown of being the first Asian-American to win.

She talked about how difficult it was to be watched 24/7 and be isolated. When she returned to her life she found the adjustment very difficult. She took her winnings to buy a condo in Manhattan and took some time off to care for her ailing father.

Jun would love to return to Big Brother if they would air an All-Winners season.

Big Brother returns to CBS on July 6th for its 24th season with fan-favorite host, Julie Chen Moonves for a 90-minute premiere. Be sure to catch up on everything happening with Big Brother right now. Come back here often for all the Big Brother spoilers, news, and updates.
