It wasn’t very longs (just days or perhaps sooner) that Yellowstone fans watched the season 4 finale of the gritty show and wanted to know they would see season 5 premiere. The good news is, Paramount Network has announced that the upcoming season if officially taking shape.
Yes, filming on Yellowstone season 5 has officially begun with all of the stars fans have grown to love; Kevin Costner as John Dutton, Cole Hauser as Rip Wheeler, Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton and Luke Grimes in the role of Kayce Dutton.
Filming Is Now Under Way In Montana
The Paramount Network confirmed the start of filming on May 16th. Filming on the series is in Montana as in pasts seasons. As far as the plot, details have been kept tightly under wraps. Even the stars of the show aren’t sure what to expect.
“Yellowstone’s record-breaking performance proves we’ve tapped a cultural nerve and unleashed a passionate audience from the center of the country to each of the coasts,” Chris McCarthy, the president and CEO of ViacomCBS Media Networks, shared of the series’ continuation.
McCarthy however, would not reveal any details of what Yellowstone fans could expect to see unfold in season 5. And while everything remains a mystery for now, the cast themselves seem exciting for whats to come for the Dutton clan and their cohorts.
Yellowstone Season 5 To Be Longer
Kelsey Asbille, who plays Monica Long Dutton, shared that she is most excited about season 5. Fans will also get a longer season this time around. The show was renewed for a 14 episode season. Actors Jen Landon, who plays Teeter, and Kathryn Kelly, a newcomer by the name of Emily, has also been promoted to series regulars. The more the merrier, season 5 is sure to feature a lot of twists and turns with the dramatic Dutton family. The new season is expected to premiere Sunday, November 13, 2022.
