The reimagined series Roswell, New Mexico was written by Carina Adly Mackenzie and directed by Julie Plec. Meanwhile, the series, like the original, is based on Melinda Metz’s Roswell High book series. The series is set to release its fourth season on June 6, but sadly for fans, this will be the last season of The CW show.

The CW series Roswell, New Mexico tells the story of the daughter of undocumented immigrants. On return to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, to care for her ailing father, Liz Ortecho, makes a stunning discovery.
On arrival, she reconnects with her high school crush, Max Evans, who is now a police officer. Meanwhile, the chemistry between them is electric, but she soon learns something shocking. In fact, she discovers that Max and his siblings are actually aliens. They have been keeping their abilities secret their whole lives.
Moreover, as they grow closer, Liz struggles to keep the truth from her best friend, Maria and her high school ex, Dr. Kyle Valenti. However, hiding the siblings’ true identities turns out to be more important than ever. It turns out a long-standing government conspiracy, along with the politics of fear and hatred threatens their lives.

The CW series canceled
Ahead of season 4 of Roswell, New Mexico, The CW has canceled the series, meaning it will end after the season starting on June 6. Meanwhile, as per Deadline, the sci-fi series is only one of several shows being axed by the network. Other series being canceled include Naomi and 4400 after only one season.
Meanwhile, In The Dark has also been canceled after four seasons, along with Charmed, Legacies and Dynasty. These series join previously canceled shows like Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow.
Meanwhile, fans of Roswell, New Mexico will get to see season 4 of the sci-fi series on The CW on June 6, 2022. No doubt, they will be hoping for some kind of closure with the final season. While some canceled series end on a cliffhanging note, we just have to hope this won’t be the case with Roswell, New Mexico.
