The ABC Network continues to add some serious star power to its upcoming third season of Big Sky. Big Sky has now added country singer Reba McEntire. Show runners just promoted actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Sopranos) to a series regular as well as Jensen Ackles of Supernatural fame. Now with Reba on board, the season will be a must see.
Reba McEntire’s Return To TV
Reba has signed on to star in the role of Sunny Brick, “the mercurial matriarch of the Brick Family, a successful backcountry outfitter with a secret history of missing customers,” according to Deadline. Reba herself as yet to address her new role in the ABC series.
Reba’s character should be a great addition to the storyline with Ackles on board as a Sheriff by the name of Beau. Sigler will continue on in her role as the troubled Tonya who fans know has gotten herself all tangled up with a crowd of criminals.
The last time fans saw Reba on the small screen, the singer appeared in Malibu Country back in 2013. Prior, she lead her own show entitled Reba, as a mom of three who was forced to deal with her cheating ex and his mistress turned new wife. In the end, they all became a loving and supportive blended family unit. Reba ran from 2001 through 2007.
