The former Justified TV series with Timothy Olyphant is moving full steam ahead with its limited series sequel. The upcoming sequel has been titled Justified: City Primeval and has been picked up by its original home network of FX.

City Primeval: High Noon Will Take Givens To Detroit

Justified fans were thrilled to learn that original leading man Timothy Olyphant will return to play Raylan Givens, the no nonsense deputy of the law who plays by  his own rules. In the series, Olyphant returned to his hometown of Kentucky on assignment. The story is based the books written by author Elmore Leonard.

The new show will be based on Leonard’s novel titled City Primeval: High Noon. As shared by the book’s summary, “Having left the hollers of Kentucky eight years ago, Raylan Givens now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 14-year-old girl.” Raylan will once again be called to duty to track down a  sociopath in Detroit.
