1. Eat a little ginger




Do you love the taste of ginger? Well, then you’re in luck! This little spice has been proven to help with all kinds of sickness. Stick a little in your tea for the best results.

2. Take little sips of water

Staying hydrated is essential, but it’s not always easy when you feel a little sick. Be sure to sip your water slowly so that you don’t overdo it. This should calm your stomach in no time at all.

3. Lie down

Make no mistakes, pregnancy is exhausting! Lie down on your bed for a few minutes and get the rest that you need and deserve! Go on.

4. Smell a lemon

This one may sound a tad odd, but it really does work. Cut a fresh lemon in half and sniff it. The circus scent will help you unwind and relax.

5. Avoid spicy food

As much as you like curry, spicy food is a ‘no no’ right about now. You should be certain to eat plain food rather than anything hot or too rich.

6. Eat little and often

While we’re on the subject of food, make sure that you eat small meals often throughout the day. Doing so will mean that you don’t have any sickness and will always feel full.

7. Quit using your computer

Your computer can actually make you feel more sick! Take a break from staring at screens in general. It might just make all the difference. The bright colors and lights often cause people to feel more stressed and ultimately sick.

8. Take your mind off it

Stop thinking about how sick you feel! It will do you no good whatsoever. Instead, you need to do something to distract yourself. You could read a book or just chat to your partner.

9. Take a walk

When was the last time you got some fresh air? If you cannot remember, it could be time to take a walk. Getting out of the house is sure to make you feel better.

10. Eat a salad

If all else fails, try eating a salad. It’s non offensive and won’t upset your tummy anymore than it is now. What’s more, it’s tasty and healthy for you. Bonus.
