Look outside and what do you see? The flowers are blooming, the trees are budding and the birds are chirping away. Now, go look in the mirror and what do you see? Well, if you are like most women in the spring, you see dry, dull hair. Well, here are some of the best things you can do for your hair this spring.
Get your hair trimmed– The very first thing you want to do is to trim your hair. During the winter months, the cold dry air can wreak havoc on your hair. When you trim your hair, you are getting rid of the dead ends, making your hair healthier looking.

Change your shampoo and conditioner– When spring arrives, it is a good time to switch your regular shampoo and conditioner. This is especially true if you have been using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner during the winter months. While there is nothing wrong with moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, during spring you want to consider switching to shampoos and conditioners for normal hair. The reason for the switch is because the air in the spring contains humidity and moisturizing hair care products can add too much moisture to your hair.
Use a hair serum– Hair serums are designed to prevent the dreaded frizzes that tend to come along with the spring season. Hair serum is simply and easy to use since all you need to do is apply the serum to your hair when it is damp. The serum will work into your hair to smooth and seal hair cuticles.

Get a hair clarifying treatment– With the change of the seasons, these are the best times to make some intense changes to your hair. By giving your hair a clarifying treatment, you are basically getting rid of all the gunk that may have built up in your hair during the winter months. The clarifying treatment will also recondition your hair, giving it a fresh look for spring.
The heat can be especially damaging to your hair especially during Spring and Summer. I normally get a hair cut during this time of the year. And getting a good shampoo and conditioner helps as well.
