No one wants to spend hours slaving away in the kitchen over a hot oven during the summer. These Patriotic Dessert cones will be perfect for your 4th of July party, or be a no bake summer treat for your backyard barbeque. Kids and adults will love this fun dessert, plus it’s a no bake favorite!
Regular Ice Cream Cones
Color Ice Cream Cones (red and blue)
1 box vanilla instant pudding (3.4 ounce size)
1 tub whipped topping (8 oz) thawed
1 bag Kraft jet puffed starmallows
- In a large bow, mix cool whip and pudding until combined well. Add about 3/4 of a bag marshmallows, reserving the remaining for garnish.
- Spoon into ice cream cones and top with reserved marshmallows. Serve immediately.
If you refrigerate, the cones will get soft, but they will still hold their shape and remain edible. You can always chill the pudding dessert and add it to the cones just before serving. This recipe makes about 9 cones.
