Kate Middleton’s Post-Baby Style Secrets Revealed

Kate Middleton gave birth to her baby girl less than three hours after entering the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. Kate emerged, carrying Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, a mere 10 hours later! How did The Duchess of Cambridge do it? Her team of stylists pulled off the look and now you can steal the look as Kate Middleton’s post-baby style secrets are revealed!

Hair

Amanda Cook Tucker is responsible for Kate Middleton’s post-delivery hair. She kept the look simple but bouncy with an easy blowout. Tucker used a big bag full of tricks and you can bet a blow dryer, a large round brush, and a curling iron were just a few of the tools. Using the round brush and blow dryer, you can create the same volume and body by spritzing some dry shampoo on your roots and combing it through your locks. Set your dryer to a low heat and use the round brush to shape hair, taking care to provide plenty of lift around the crown of your head. Richard Ward was also rumored to be on hand to touch up Kate’s hair color. (The Duchess stopped coloring during her pregnancy.)

Makeup

Kate stuck with her traditional look of full browns, brown liner, rosy cheeks, and a soft pink lip. What products she uses exactly are up for debate, but the strongest rumors claim she is a huge Bobbi Brown fan. The Daily Mail adds that her glow wasn’t just from her mommy pride, but enhanced by Bobbi’s Brightening Finishing Powder. Tucker reportedly aided Kate in finishing up her look as she isn’t just a whiz with hair, but also a trained makeup artist. Outift

Kate Middleton stuck with Jenny Packham. The Duchess wore a blue Packham shift dress after giving birth to Prince George in 2013. After delivering Princess Charlotte, Kate had the bespoke silk shift dress with buttercup print delivered to the hospital from Kensington Palace. She had the dressed picked out weeks in advance, ready for her new baby’s debut. The Duchess finished the look with Annoushka pearl drop earrings, some John Lewis “Barely There” sheer tights, and nude Jimmy Choo “Gilbert” pumps.
