Southwest Black Bean and Avocado Salad - Quick, Easy Vegetarian Meal

A quick, easy vegetarian meal could already be sitting in your pantry. This Southwest Black Bean and Avocado Salad mixes the rich and creamy meat of an avocado with the hearty and filling nature of black beans. Avocado: The green fruit can lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, contain more potassium than bananas, and their healthy fats help your body absorb nutrients from plant foods.

That means, the are the best beans to neutralize cell-damaging free radicals, and help lower the risk of heart disease and cancer.

Cumin: Aids in digestion, improves immunity, treats piles, fights insomnia, and helps with respiratory disorders, asthma, bronchitis, common cold, lactation, anemia, skin disorders, boils, and cancer.
