If you are hunting for the a perfect party snack, look no further. This recipe takes a fan favorite and revamps it into a sweet St. Patrick’s Day party treat. Lucky Charms Chex Mix will have your guests begging for the recipe. It’s deliciously easy and kid-friendly.
Ingredients:
5 cups Rice Chex Cereal
¾ cup White chocolate chips
3 Tablespoons Butter or margarine
1 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
1 1/2 cups Cereal Marshmallows
Sprinkles
Directions:
- Measure the Chex cereal into a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and the Butter together (about 30 seconds in the microwave).
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the top of the cereal and use a spatula or a spoon to mix well until all of the pieces are coated.
- Measure the powdered sugar and pour over the coated cereal. Stir gently until the pieces look dry and all of them have a powdered sugar coating.
- Spread evenly on a parchment lined baking sheet to cool.
- Once cool toss the chex with the cereal marshmallows & sprinkles. Serve.
Store the mix in an airtight container until ready to enjoy. It’s a great treat to make in advance and save yourself some time in the kitchen and let you mingle with your guests instead!
