These days, we rely on our phones for just about everything. From booking a table at our favorite restaurant to finding where exactly you are, this handy little device has the answer. So, when you’re looking around Disney with your loved ones, you need to make sure that your phone has some juice. But how?
The truth of the matter is that there are loads of easy little ways to keep your phone running for longer. If you’re not sure where to start, you’ve come to the right place. Here are just five little tips that should help you out no end. Enjoy!
Switch to ‘power saving’ mode
Most people don’t realise this but you can easily switch your phone to ‘power saving’ mode when you’re on the go. If you head to the ‘Settings’ part of your smartphone, there should be an option to switch to this mode at any given time. Once you’re in it, apps working in the background (and draining your power) will be turned off. Clever, right?
Take a portable charger with you
You can actually buy portable phone chargers from many electronics stores these days. That means that you can have an extra battery with you whenever you need it. It’s well worth shopping around to find a good deal on this product. These days, they are just so common that you can basically get them for next to nothing.
Look for tables with sockets
Of course, there will be times when you sit down and eat at one of the restaurants in Disney. When you do so, it’s worth checking out which seats are available. Sometimes, if you’re particularly lucky, you will find that there is a table with a socket near it. You could sneakily use it to charge your phone as you eat. Clever!

Look for phone charging lockers
If you invest in a locker while you’re at Disney, you should opt for one with a charger in it. Obviously, not every single locker will have a port, and so you may need to check out a few before you settle on one. Once you’ve found it, you can leave your device on charge in it for an hour or so. That should give you the extra power you need.

Avoid Facebook at all costs
Without a doubt, one of the major things that drains your battery has to be Facebook. If your’e posting things online 24/7, you will find that it kills your power. Yikes. Instead, save all your updates for later when you’re in the hotel room. That way, you won’t waste power all of the time. You know it makes sense.
