Eek! Fat! People hear the word ‘fat’ and automatically assume that it’s a bad thing. Um, news flash! Not all fat is bad for you. You actually need some fats in your diet to remain healthy and energized. What’s important here is how you get them. Avocados have a whole load of natural fat in them (as well as protein) so they’re a great place to start.

Plus, it helps lower your cholesterol

If you worry about your cholesterol (who doesn’t?), grabbing a few extra avocados at the store might be a great place to start. There has actually been a load of research to suggest that introducing these things into your diet will help lower your cholesterol. Give them a go as a snack or as part of your main meal.

The sorry truth of the matter is that many of us out there suffer from digestion problems. What that means is that we will struggle when it comes to eating certain foods. One avocado contains a whole load of fiber, which means that your digestion should run very smoothly when you eat this fruit.

If you feel lethargic throughout the day and need an extra boost, eating a little avocado might just be the way forward. Since the fruit is full of healthy fat, it means that you get a constant stream of energy throughout the day.
