Tea has plenty of health benefits; it contains antioxidants, minerals, and essential oils. But it also has the power to boost our moods, and with so many teas to try, why not add a few new ones to your mix?

Hibiscus tea is loaded with antioxidants and vitamin C. For this reason, it’s a good tea to try at the onset of a cold. Some doctors even prescribe it for high blood pressure. Plus, the name alone conjures up images of Hawaiian beaches and hulas, always good for a smile!

Peppermint tea has anti-inflammatory properties and is also a good drink to sip if you experience regular cramping. It’s said to have the power to calm and sooth frazzled nerves, so be sure to keep lots on hand!

Also known to smooth out rough nerves is the heavenly-scented Lemon grass tea. Why not reach for a glass of it next time you’re feeling stressed out? Hint: keep plenty of it at work!

  1. I have started growing some of my own blends to make teas and drying them. For some reason I drink most of my tea in the winter. Should remember to drink tea all year long.

  2. Chai and green tea are two of my favorites. At the old mall I used to frequent, I would always stop by Teavanna for samples. They would always infuse a couple flavors together. I love the aroma of tea, too!

  3. My daughter drinks tea every day. She doesn’t like coffee, but she needs caffeine to get her through her college classes! I drink tea often as well. I love all of the benefits tea provides and the health issues it can help with too.
