The city is filled with an array of places that are World Heritage Sites by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, including Casa Mila and Hospital de Sant Pau.

Playa del Carmen is a city located in Mexico, along the Caribbean Sea. It is considered a popular tourist destination in winter because it is the end of hurricane season, which runs from June to November. Temperatures during the winter months’ average around 74 degrees Fahrenheit. The most popular spot in Playa del Carmen is Quinta Avenue, also known as 5th Avenue. This thoroughfare stretches across 20 blocks and features an array of shopping areas, bars, clubs and restaurants.
