Autumn Aroma Revitalizing Bath Soak

Autumn Aroma Revitalizing Bath SoakDon’t you just love the promise of autumn and that spicy and warm aroma that comes along with it?

Well, this recipe brings some of that aroma to your bath time, while providing you with some great health benefits and a perfect excuse to steal away an hour for yourself in the bath.

The base is all natural and the recipe easy to make. The essential oils included in it are cassia, cardamom, and orange.

Don’t be alarmed by the use of cassia, because it only calls for 2 drops. Just enough for a little spice, but not too much. Cassia oil is full of wonderful benefits for you but the ones it is included for in this particular recipe is the antidepressant, anti-arthritic, circulatory and stimulant. It will help revive you and help ease your aches at the same time.

Cardamom will help with many things as well, including reducing spasms, helping your skin health, good for circulation and is also a stimulant and aphrodisiac.

Orange oil has all those benefits listed above as well as being an aroma that makes you feel happy and lighter. Combined, these 3 oils are a powerhouse for your body and perfect to use at holiday times when we are overly tired and worn out from all the planning and festivities.

What you will need:

A 16 oz. glass bottle with lid

1 cup Epsom salts

2/3 cup baking soda

1/3 cup Himalayan sea salt

2 drops cassia essential oil

7 drops cardamom essential oil

13 drops orange essential oil

Mixing bowl, funnel if needed and whisk

Directions:

Measure out your Epsom salts into mixing bowl first, and whisk to break up any lumps it may have in it. Then add in your baking soda and sea salt and do the same. The salt tends to clump more than anything else.

Now, mix them together well to disperse evenly and then go ahead and add in your essential oil drops. Whisk thoroughly to blend the oils and keep a lookout for any clumping and be sure to break it up so one oil doesn’t tend to stay in one spot.

Now, add into the bottle you’ve chosen, using a funnel if you have a skinny neck like mine does.
