Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With This Low Calorie Shamrock Shake – RECIPE!

If you’re like me you are excited about St. Patrick’s Day being just around the corner and planning your celebrations.  Remember, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.  At the same time you’re probably starting to workout and eat healthier to get into those Spring/Summer styles.

To let you enjoy St. Patty’s Day without feeling guilty about those extra calories why not try our Lo-Cal Shamrock Shake.  I guarantee you, you will love it. It is YUMMY!!!! Check out the recipe below:

Ingredients:

3/4 cup low fat vanilla frozen yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
1/8 tsp peppermint extract
6 drops green food coloring
1 tsp Truvia
5 ice cubes

Directions:

Combine all ingredients into a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into glass and top with Reddi Whip

(Makes 1 1/2 cups or 1 serving)

  1. That looks so refreshing! I’d love to give that a try even if it’s not St. Patrick’s Day! What’s great is that you can use different food coloring for different occasions! Awesome!

  2. I have not celebrated St. Patrick but it looks fun! I think I should try doing so even if I do not belong to their community. It would be awesome to experience it. 😀 I am new to this Shamrock thing but I have a Truvia from the ingredients list so I think I am going to try it. 🙂
